A tree which has survived many, and is very strong. perhaps the effects
of winter could withdraw based upon how many you have lived through-

lived through 10 winters: you loose random damage durring winter
lived through 20 winters: you are more precise on your casting rounds
lived through 30 winters: your heart is more resistant to the cold
lived through 40 winters: your never miss a spell round
lived through 50 winters: you are hardy, and fare winter well.

the #'s I used (the amount of winters) is ONLY AN EXAMPLE these are
not realistic obviously, but just to show the gradual flow into a
strong Ent. There can even be a new line in every ents Desc, describing
their bark (how thick, Gnarled, color) to show how far along they are.

I think this is good because it will still stop people from reincing
but will work hand in hand with the Ents long lifespan, to provide players
who simply love to play the race a bonus if they stat in it.
(and for all you assholes, I meant reinc into habo'ers)

if it would be tied to age, you dont need winters.. we have age already.. so
basically ancient ents would be rid of the winter effects.. middleaged would
be heart more resistant to cold etc=)? sounds fun to me!
Yeah, so we can have ents searching out undeads and looking for other monsies
which cast entropy...or maybe they take fast aging and go die a bunch...I just
can't wait to see people trying to minmax ents for that!

Ents should not have feet slots, not head slots. As they age they should get
more branches though with which they could hit, not very hard though (max 2
damage/branch and max 20 branches when middle aged, after that they should
lose branches as they get older) and of course a freakin' tree can't wield
shit!
At winter ents should be unable to do anything at all, a tree is dormant
during the winter, right? In fact, the only period a tree is fully functional
is say 2 months during spring/summer, right?

If someone drags an ent around in a party at winter the ent should take fire
dam and burn to charcoal when stumbling upon a camp fire (can't stomp much
with thise frozen roots).
