naah this game could use another healingguild.. mebbe not as good as tarms,
but good enough to heal at eq. Evilrelig would fit well.. not for priests..
but another guild... and no, not the same healingspells as tarms.. but
healingspells nonetheless..

and if you go for the roleplaying aspect, why the hell would a goodaligned
healer party with a group of reavers and lords of chaos and evil priests and
assassins and spider demon worshippers? why would they do that? or a nuntarm!
why would a nun join forces with undead evil people for any cause?

multiple tanks, multiple blasters =) multiple healers would be good if made
with balance.. could easily limit the other guilds it can join like monks vs
nuns.. i could imagine reavers not being allowed to join a healingguild,
doesnt sound too much of their thing for instance.

Ok, see, I'm all over another healing guild in the right circumstances.
Giving an evil relig healing guild would be all sorts of interesting.
However, to make it diversified and useful, you have to give the evil relig
healer something suffeli that the tarm healer doesn't get, and pull something
away from evil relig that the tarm does have. Doing so could effectively fuck
the balance enough to where either one member of each guild were required in
some areas, or worse, some areas would be unworkable with one, and you would
have to have the other. This wouldn't be an issue if there were as many
people interested in healing as there are interested in blasting or tanking.
Variety works with offtanks because, fuck, if you need a meatwall, there is
always one online. It's already difficult enough for me to get a blaster I
need simply due to the diversity of the different guilds and the way my
preferences run. If I had to deal with the same issues with healers, it would
be a nightmare. And this mainly applies to those of us who exp during the
idle exp bonus before boot. There's just not enough people on to fill
necessary slots as a rule unless parties are set up and organized beforehand.
Give me an EQ number of people playing at any one given time, and diversify
your ass off, and the game would improve a ton. However in some cases,
diversity just makes it that much more difficult given the number of players
online at certain times of the day.
Shrug, just my two cents anyway, flame away.
