I'd have to agree with that statement, seeing as the rebirth is supposed to be
a way of starting over as a newbie. But you wont see me changing it (lack of
time)
I made a mistake about the lack of time comment
One bitter jealous mortal whines about rebirth exp counting in race
leadership. And it gets tuned? What the hell is going on in here?

"rebirth is supposed to be a way of starting of as a newbie";

That's the worst reason ever to tune something. Do you see lots of titan
newbies running around? Or true newbies with good eq? Maybe you mixed rebirth
and suicide. Rebirthed exp isn't lost, it's used for the rebirth.

Rebirth is about starting with 0 exp, 0 rep, 0 explore count and 0 quests and
that's all it has to do with being newbie. Rebirth is much more about having
balls to start from scratch and gaining status in many ways, like different
status in finger and ranks etc. So please DON'T tune such an important thing
about rebirth that makes it worthwhile. Status (like race leadership) doesn't
even improve the character in any way. Somehow I'd rather see lvl 40 eternal
to lead a race instead of level 50 true newbie.

You can also meet new people after you rebirth, since most people tend to be
afraid of lvl 90+ people.
I made news friends after i rebirthed and i got to explore lots of quests.
Rebirth exp should count on race leader choosing.
Or exp shouldn't matter at all in it, like martow said, i would rather see
rebirther lead the race than some handles idiot who has somehow gotten few
experience points.

One bitter mortal? look at the news rating on that article...20 votes with a
net ofpositive 10...meaning that 66% of the votes were positive.

Secondly, if you think that rebirthers should be able to use their
exp...imagine this...someone 3xrebirths then just idles...they're lvl 1
leading a race...is that reasonable? I think that the race thing is based on a
player's current strength in that race, meanign that it should count the
current exp which is our only real judge of power...

Sorry, but I simply can't let this go, it just totally offends my senses. If
you have a net +10 with 20 +/- votes, then that means 75% of the votes were
positive. Not the aforementioned 66%. Sheesh.
