What is it exactly we're missing here? How are we going to revitalize the
game? Or do we even need to? What most of this seems to be aiming at is
changing things enough to make old players come back. Do we want more fresh
blood in the game? Most of us cantankerous oldbies don't want to see more
newbies in the game. We had an awesome push... last year, or the year before
with some voting batmud best online game or whatever. Can we get some
statistics on how many of those newbies we seduced in with the game who are
still active players?

So, more newbies is the first step, getting newbies who are actually willing
to learn, and want to play the game is the second step. Final step? Change
something. Drastic. No, I don't have a ton of ideas on what major changes
need to be put into play, but I recall the training point tune that seemed to
add in a ton more players due to the excitement.

I believe I've made my intentions known for wizzing, I would like to be able
to wiz and give something back to the game, but my current abilities will
limit me to area coding. New areas will be nice, but won't bring more players
in the game, either oldbies who are getting excited about playing again, or
newbies just trying the game out. I'm not sure what I would like right now
fits with the game needs, but how about seeing a bit less whining in news, and
a bit more ideas. As irritating as some mudders can be, we're not stupid.
What kind of major changes could we do? It would be really kick ass to see
some short newsposts in ideas-wanted about what can be done to make this game
different.
