Seems to me like the most commonly seen problem with the powerhour is people
not wanting to do anything else before getting the most out of their hour, and
the paralyzing effects this phenomenon has.
What I suggest is, that all players receive 1 exp/hour while logged in,
regardless of what they do. This would make it pretty hard to just stall your
powerhour for ages trying to maximize what you can get out of it.
I'm sure this suggestion will raise anger in many people, who are very
sensitive about getting every last bit of their suffeli. This, I feel, is one
more reason to implement it.
Effects of ph:
1- People tend to party for 1 hour a day, not their
usual 3-4 hours of exp. Because it isnt 'worth' it
anymore. wiz perspective: less exp in the game (good)
2- No one does eq or quests, prolonging their playing
time until they can find a exp-grind party. (again, time
usually spent on exp is spend idle/searching for party)
wiz perspective: less lq's and eq is in the game (good!)
you know this is good, because of things like rot tune which
admins installed deliberatly to remove eq from game
3- exp-tune and personal tune get raped hard every day, thus
ass-fucking the tune in most areas because of the overload in
traffic. wiz perspective: less exp in game (good!)
and finally the real kick in the ass:
you are getting double exp on a shit tune mob, which is tuned
down to close to half of its original worth! oh fuck, now thats
just histerical!
