We have had drastic tunes quite few times before.

No numbers on stats tune. It lasted about 4 months.
And in this case we would have those still, if
people wouldnt whined about it. It surely was "nice"
idea by some arch, but if majority of players get
something they really hate, people would have left
this mud eventually. With this tune I didnt see any
good sides.

Spells/skills trainable over racial max. I wrote
regularly about this for two years(few other people
did that too) and then came the day we got it. And
everyone were happy. Im pretty sure that instalment
of this system was considered quite few times.

Rebirths. There many changes on those and people
whined about those and eventually got chance to
debirth. So even this tune was quite complicated.

Eq-name tune which first seemed like a very good
idea, but later it happened to "kill" sales channel,
but in this case flipside of the coin was birth of
eq-societies. Which has given me very good chance
to enjoy playing by making eqs quite often. So this
tune has good/bad sides.

So what Im trying to say here is that game needs
tunes to develop(when development ends the game ends)
and its sometimes very difficult to predict outcome
of tune, because of the huge amount of variables we
have here. Give feedback even you are called whiner,
this game lives by you. And for the coders Id like
to say, that read the posts and dont take it too
personally:)
