I guess you have the right to your opinion. And yes, examples are "all around
the internet" where it works nicely. Ofcourse not every area will be
instanced,
but some will be. I don't see why a highbie grinding exp should ruin a
questline
for a noob for example.

There are certainly cases where an "instance" would be completely
reasonable... the most glaring and obvious case is a solo quest area (read
Ackbar's warrior quest)... why does it need to be a race to get the key in
order to complete this quest? there is absolutely no reason why it can't be
completed simultaneously by 2 or 3 capable soloers...
