While waiting militia backround(if it's even coming), little memories from
nomads, who caused several downtunes for hybridtanks. Mainly people who play
hybrids are unidle all the time, since if they are not, they will suck utterly
and without knowing how to play the guild they still suck, even if unidle.
It's also commonly known, that being good hybrid, you need good equiptment,
since as an example fencer don't know how to dodge, but barbarian does. Well
tune issues of the game, acceptable. Also hybrids need good links, since if
they are slow, they will not succeed very well. Let's take little counter peek
to nomads.
As a nomad you can easily make tank with merchant made eqs and succeed at it,
just little bit of exp to dodge and parry and you are the champion. Also you
don't have to be unidle, afterall most places after syntaxes are summon area
and you can be summoned. Also as being nomad, you have lots of time to do
other things in parties. From my own experience, we had nomad tank sleeping
for several hours before we even noticed it. Or when being in eq party you can
go out from your house and play golf. And it won't be noticed for some time if
your trigs are fine. Sadly, fairly new combat speed tune fucked nomad doings
in 3man exp too, now nomad(size 100, str 200+) can guess will he hit once or
twice in fight(several combat rounds), so if you are planning to def nomad,
take lots and lots of other things to do while "playing". I could also say,
that i'm not pointing out the fun factor in all of this. Ofcourse getting exp
and eq without effort is fun, propably why it's so much encouraged.
Ofcourse, administration of game has noticed these flaws and decided to
downtune hybrids. Well let's face it, hybrids are just too fun to play with
and way too powerful. Every party needs their own golfer, atleast it's sporty.
