It is hard to fucking fathom that there are still people who deny that humans
are affecting global temperatures. This may be an easier test for those who
live in America, cause of the massive development there, but i want you to go
back to where you grew up, and look around. What you'll notice is that there
is a HELLUVA a lot less green places, ie, just open empty plots, then there
was 30 years ago. Theres a LOT less unused (and green) space in the world.
And thats because of the the RAMPANT population and growth that the modern
world has gone through in the last 40 years.
Now every single green plant that is missing and has been paved over by a
house, a parking lot, or a shopping mall, is one less unit that is sucking CO2
out of the atmosphere, and one more unit that is pumping CO2 back into it.
Now lets not even get into the cars, the industry, or the BILLIONS more
animals that are on the planet now. It is just unbelievable that people
deny that effect.
As far as the peak oil crash and global warming, hey guess what, people lived
on this planet for 25 MILLION years without oil. But im pretty sure they cant
live for close to that long underwater. If the planet continues to overheat
who knows what will happen? Supposedly Mars was once a water rich world too,
now its a barren rock. Is that what we want our earth to look like?

good point, but i want earth to look like a barren rock!
This place is reserved for something more intelligent.
