I think saldas' idea of a merchant leap spell, maybe 50sp cost and you can
leap to any player if in sum'able room. Though you only get 5 seconds with the
other player so you've gotta be quick quick giving your eqs over for
prot/repair.

rather give long timeframe, maybe even player triggered return. with just
merhantbelt moved to another location/continent.

Why the hell should the duration be limited to seconds? Allow all eqs to be
transferred, just make movement restricted. You can only be in that one room,
and you teleport back as soon as you move. Duration can be as long as 30mins,
it can't be abusable that way at all, no matter how long it takes.

Why make it seconds? Because it's annoying. You're dreaming if you think that
a wiz will implement exactly what you want with no penalties.
