The only things I know about regions I learned from channel watching, but I'm
prerty sure the line about Rocker being an evil meanie McPkillpants who
exploits the niave wizards for free billions isn't remotely true. And I've
also gotten the impression that this rumor stifles any valid criticisms about
the regions system because it makes potential participants look
stu..er...silly.

I think the way it works is that there's a small number of players who excel
enough at pvp to challenge the status quo. And they're all or nearly all on
the payroll. So, you might suggest that regions as a competition is a complete
joke, but you can't say it's one player's dominion. The line about regions
consisting of racial factions seems to be a crock. So you might suggest caps
on the number of races in any particular alliance. Or you can suggest that
races get huge benefits to sieging castles themed towards them. But I don't
think those players that participate think there's some scary habo demon power
that makes someone unbeatable.
