If I recall right the very same thing has been discussed (by players) before.
One suggestion was that once you've done the skill thingy once you would have
that path ready, but if one wants to make a knight using the skills the guild
offers you should have all your exps at hand at once you complete the path or
have normal 10 hours of mudding time per day you want to train your skills.

Which is what i'm doing, I have the exp - which means tons of unsafe to loose
while i do the path: I'm not saying I can't complete the path - i had 2 hours
before boot, but needed to go to work in the morning. But with other guilds
getting the benifits that were previously just civ-based: casting/blasting
while mounted. Would now be a good time to ease the requirements a smidgen?

Also with less people having many hours to devote to mudding in one sitting,
easing the requirements would make the guild useable by more people.
