some random ideas off the top of my head. adjust the bonuses for all the
backgrounds. its silly that everyone would just pounce on being magical for a
caster background since it gives the most spr. a little tweak here and there
to encourage variety. we are going to minmax regardless so downtuning
everything so it all sucks is no fun really.

another thing to contemplate. yeah people can whine about balance and power
issues. lets be honest though, the good players are always going to rock.
regardless of the scenario. and we are in the last gasp phase of the game, so
really does it matter? people have GIGS of experience. its easily doable to
make 300m exp in a month if you decided to be a gnoll and devote a solid
schedule to grinding and no life mudding.

i guess the bottom line of my posts is, the game was made to encourage
partying. for people to interact with others. yeah giving us some hardcore
options will lead to insanely gross solo machines, but im sure people will be
more inclined to party with others since we would have more diverse options to
offer them in both backrow and frontrow options. yeah there are somethings
that would need to be fixed, some things would have to be disallowed, but i
know that i for one would definitely show interest again if i was given the
option of turning my character into something new that the mud hasnt seen
before. yeah im a power hungry minmaxing whiney bitch, but i think im pretty
creative also.

again, long winded rant, if its TL:DR (too long: dont read) whatever, im just
not ready to bury the game that has been a lasting influence on me as a person
if i can voice an opinion and have it heard.
