Hi Guys,

sorry to bother you again. But I had several private talks about this topic
and decided to post my latest sales-run. Just that you can better imagine why
I ask this.

This run I didnt sell too much, but the list still shows how hard it would be
to decide what is sell able w/o the 50% cutting.

I just ask for a option to not autosell if shopkeeper cuts the price. If not
then not - but asking does not hurt anyone ;)

Umm, why not ask for the correct price to be displayed when typing "i", rather
than a no-brains-dont-sell-my-shit-unless-its-full-price-flag? That would be
more reasonable I think,

I am not Coder in this mud. So I cant decide what is more work to code.
Definitely your idea almost have the same result. The only exception is, if
somebody sells crap between your "i" and the "sell all" you are dammed again
;) And isnt it rude of the shopkeeper to service another while you were fist
in shop? ;)

Either way, whether you get better display of prices in the "i" command or get
a flag that prevent selling for a 50% discount, I already learned that there
is no interest in coding this.

*shrug* Lets be at peace and find other better ideas :)

Yours, Kal

I would like to point out that (at least for me and judging by the code I've
seen I think this applies to most of us wizards) the amount of code we have to
scratch together has jack shit to do with the decision on whether we'll
implement something or not. Also having a change request turned down indicates
very little (if any) about the interest to code something, it is more likely
that the request was turned down because of some abuse possibilities, game
imbalance on that particular subject or in very rare cases just the absolutely
ridiculous pain-vs-gain ratio. I mean, at least I can't be arsed to write 1000
lines for some fancy visual trick, OTOH for game mechanics 1000 lines is just
a walk in the park.
All in all I'd like you to try to stay calm and think out of the box.
Sometimes things you ask aren't that simple to implement than what some might
think.
