I know its been asked before, but...
Would it be possible to bring the paladin guild back into the game?
I think it would add some nice flavor, and give the good religious
background another tank guild option. I'm envisioning a mounted
g-relig guild here. An idea for the mounts that is similar to, but
not the same as Tzarakk would be that the paladin would have to go out
and find himself (or herself) a warhorse. Not a drake or chimera or griffon,
but a warhorse, then through rep gain in the guild, or through using some
skill, etc would be able to imbue his mount with more power. More hp, more
physres, the ability to summon the mount to him (kinda like the way
Silver always shows up for the Lone Ranger). Anyway, I'd also like to
see PGM back in the game, but thats really secondary ;)

As for skill ideas, IMO paladins should get long blades, axes, polearms, and
of course be proficient in mounted combat. Shield work would also be a
component of the paladin guild. As for spell ideas, any of the 'cure' healing
spells, and lessen poison, then maybe saintly touch and holy hand, possibly
turn undead, but only get knowledge of dispelling to hmm, 50ish.
Oh, some protection from evil and dispel evil also might fit here.

So in short, a good religious mounted tank guild, that can improve their
mounts over time that concentrates on the heavier edged weapon types, and
polearms (lances ya know), gets low-mid level tarmalen healing, and low-mid
level nun dispelling. I think it would bring some nice flavor to g-relig
background.

They also should have area skills, 1 round blasts, party healing skill and why
not nuclear weapons too?????

You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin'
laser beams attached to their heads!
