So I get a lot of questions about stuff and thought I should start sharing
some of them.
Q: Dear Malar. I know about veliciraptors, but why haven't I heard anything
about acceliraptors or positionraptors?
A: Neither of these species left much of a fossil record. Positionraptors soon
went extinct because of their inability to move. Acceliraptors tended to have
a varying lifespan but even the slowest ones would reach escape velocity after
just a few minutes of life. By the time they were an hour old most of them had
left the solar system. A lot of the interstellar nebulae which we can observe
today were caused by stars getting hit by a stray acceliraptor.
