At the moment, one of the first things a newbie in this game learns, is where
to look for a comprehensive map of the batworld.
Yet, shrine search quests retains its rating of 'challenging' quest.
I think 'easy' would be more like it, as all you have to do is look at map and
walk a bit.
it seems walk a bit would be a little of an understatement seeing as some of
the shrines are in the middle of nowhere or in see
For starters, this quest is most commonly done by someone new to the mud with
very little understanding of the game or the outerworld. Note- most, not all.
Furthermore, since it is LQ 41, there is no way to do it while using nav
spells unless you find someone to 'go' and summon you all over the place,
which is unlikely. The quest is 'challenging' imho not for the quest itself,
but perhaps having the will to actually _physically_ walk around the
outerworld. Yes, the outerworld map helps, but there is still the problem of
swimming to duck or penguin shrines as well as running out of eps.
First of all, there _is_ a way to do the shrine search with navs, if you're a
rebirther. Second, ep consumption? So you have to actually TAKE A REGEN BREAK
in a quest?!?!?
Wow, that's really hard. Challenging even. And swimming, well, yeah, that's
really fucking difficult since swimming/ww/float/whatever is only available in
every other guild.
So it's really all about "the will to actually _physically_ walk around the
outworld".
If that's considered challenging by the powers that be, especially now that it
fetches some training points, wow. Just... wow.
So hauling your virtual creamy lardass around is considered a challenge. I
guess that means all those who find it too hard are 'challenged' like that,
and need wheelchairs.

You can get navs for it, yes, if you go merchant, but not otherwise. Even
eternal status doesn't give you 46 levels worth of stuff, and 1 nav level
would be useless anyway. Additionally, the stupid quest resets every time
someone frobs something with one race shrine, which seemed to be frequently
awhile ago, so it's not exactly walk in the park.
MOST of the quests are walk in the park, deal with it.
