Did you ever stop and think how 'f*cked' it would be if you're in a party that
doesn't have a resser or in an area that you can't get ressed and how
'f*cking' annoying it would be to have to wait for a ferry and take 15-20 min
to get back to the right continent, just so you can get summoned/reloc back to
the party? Cause to me that's more f*cked then just having to tick a few
times and maybe tipping a merchant a couple k every now and then for a few
scars.
And what's so wrong with dying being a bit of a pain, or maybe a bit more of
a pain than it has been. What's so wrong with having to take someone with
raise/ress or maybe a wanderer or how about finding a raiser/resser on
the continent that you want? Or, just die less, yes, this is possible.
I'll definately agree that it's not so fun when something is just made
unplayable. However, sometimes making things harder in one way is not
always such a bad thing. If ressing/raising really is harder then perhaps
areas/quests/mobs etc that would have been tuned to be able to kill
players more often will not be tuned as much.
At least it seems to me that dieing is often not much of a penalty
and that it would actually be more fun if killing various mobs was
not simply a contest to see how much damage can be done between
inevitable deaths.
