Here are a few real fast kludge style fixes to some of the events that have
garnered widespread mortal whines.

Cyclone: 1) make it toss a random # of players in room and not ALL players in
room--this prevents what happened to us at tyra. 2) Shouldnt hit if you are
in combat (thats just not fair, if tank gets tossed all backrows die for no
reason) 3) Shouldnt hit you if you are in an indoor room--this is just
stupidly obvious. I like how we were fucking INSIDE A FUCKING CASTLE when the
cyclon tossed us. Who the fuck coded this lame brained event? Who approved
it??? Sorry whine off.

Magic Eater: 1) Make it appear in random cities (not sure if it does this) and
make it affect only magic on THAT cities continent. This way, its not a total
assfucking for the whole mud. 2) if less than 100 mortals on = no eater.
EVER. 3) make it a lil bit easier to kill. Atm it just hits WAY WAY too hard
for newbies, esp since you cant protect for its types.

MC Demons + Rh: Make it so that you can at most lose 1 item per week from
these events or something. Ive heard stories that when the wizzes ran demons
like 12 times in a row, players who went ld with eq on came back basically
naked. If i was the wizards, i would remove the ability of demons to steal
from ld players. If you want to be clever about you could make it so they
only steal from ld players who go ld AFTER demons are run. I have no idea how
hard such a thing would be to code.

Just some basic rambling.
Also im all for more fun OPTIONAL events with a moderate payback.
