Queue is empty.
106 unidle mortals in the game and 143 mortals in total.
Maximum unidle mortals is 1337.
So, out of 17 players of lvl 40 and under: 3 are rebirthers, 4 are known
idlers/wiz secondaries = 10 players. This is less than 10% (!) of players on
40% (!!!) of game levels. It's kind of worrying. It's either a) not enough new
players, and 90+ percent of the players are oldbies (someone who keeps saying
we 'get new players all the time', here's proof to the contrary) or b) we have
an overinflation of experience and people get to relatively high level way too
easily -> the game doesn't offer much of a challenge at low levels, which is
both a good and a bad thing. Why is it a good thing? Newbies get into the
gameplay more easily, and get more fun more quickly. Why is it a bad thing?
Well, I kind of fail to see the point of having 100 levels if getting to lvl
50 and maxing a guild takes only a few hours. Seriously, even though progress
never was/is/will be linear, it is still imo a bad sign that there is so much
exp in the game it really doesn't matter if you're a dedicated player or a
total newbie, and eq is all that matters.
Well, keep in mind that there's a strong incentive for people to get to the
lvl 45-50 range...lots of people hang out in the lvl 50 area for a long part
of their exp-careers because it means you have a single full guild...if
anything, this is less of an issue of "exp is too easy" and more of an issue
of "the guild system encourages certain lvl players"
