I want to say ONE MORE FUCKING TIME, how utterly STUPID 1 month general prots
are on monsters.
I have to agree on this one. Some wizzes don\'t though...

I want to kill stifism, and ive killed him 2 times in over 5 years.
Good for you. 2 times is pretty decent! When I was considering wizzing last
autumn, I had 3 mobs left in my kill-list: Burgle, Asmo and Stifsim. I think I
got stifsim before Burglefloogah, but I\'m not totally sure on this one,
anyways, Tiamat is a walk in the park compared to getting to stifu...

Please do the same
thing for eq monsters. General PROT DOES NOT WORK. It increases problems
between players, and consolidates eq hoarding among a small group of players.
I agree again. However, I do see the rationale behind general prots. It\'s an
easy way to make unbalanced and too easy mob, as the eq won\'t totally flood
in (the mob with the relic...). Anyways, lets face it. Tuning mob to the right
difficulty is really hard, so this is yet another easy hack. And, it\'s much
better there is a Stifsim, than if there wasn\'t.

If the problem that needs solving is AMOUNT of eq in the game, make the
personal prot on stifism VERY LONG, say 6 months. I bet there is only a few
people who go to check that mob anyways.
Stifsim would really need a revamp if the global prot would be dropped. The
easiest, non-agro version is such a wuss that I can\'t see any party capable
of getting there, failing it. So, every eq-ss would get 1-2 medallions every 6
months, depending on how many 9-mans they can collect... So, just personal
6month wouldn\'t be enough, it would need more work than that.

Can SOMETHING be done about this finally?
In the end, it\'s the responsible coder\'s decision. For better or worse,
that\'s the way it goes, and the best hope is to try to persuade the areacoder
to change the mechanics. Until the perfect solution comes along, we just have
to live with what we have.
