i'm just hoping that someone could fill me in on the point of batmud news. it
seems to me that it is only used for suggestions for the game but i would like
to know is it meant to be used for organisation between players too or what?

Well, consider that an in-game forum of a sort :)

Well, consider that an in-game forum of a sort :)
Well i understand that it is meant to be a forum but i don't see the usual
discussions that go with forums, all i can see is suggestions for how the game
should be improved! well i would like to give my 2 cents, i want to suggest
that another section is added to the news, a section that allows people to
organise times that they will be on and make parties and what not... what do
you think?

You can use channels to find party members. Further on, so-called secret
societies allow you to purchase newsgroups, that further help you manage
parties within the society.

well it looks like its secret society all the way then :P
it'll take a while but so help me i'm determined , i'm doing all this just so
that i can do secladin!!!!
