Match 1: Zenick vs Krzysiek (GMT's Pit of Spikes)
Quick win for Zenick.

Match 2: Cozmo vs Enandor (Tiamat's Breath)
Enandor put up a little fight but, Cozmo came out the winner.

Match 3: Mithrand vs Amd (Burgle's Swamps)
One of the better matches of the day, Mithrand eventually won out.

Match 4: Zenick vs Cozmo (GMT's Pit of Spikes)
Another fast win for Zenick.

Match 5: Nazrix vs Searc (GMT's Pit of Spikes)
Nazrix tried to be sneaky but in the end just got killed.

Match 6: Fil vs Serra (GMT's Pit of Spikes)
Is this really a match? Sorry Fil.

Match 7: Mithrand vs Searc (Asmo's Ring of Torment)
As I shouted, this was an annihilation for Searc.

Match 8: Shar vs Serra (Tiamat's Breath)
These two were going shot for shot, unfortunatly for Serra,
Shar hits harder.

--Toudi and Dupre are awarded byes cause of no-shows.

Match 9: Dupre vs Toudi (GMT's Pit of Spikes)
Toudi pulled an early lead, but in the end Dupre won by being uncon.

Battle Royale: Dupre vs Mithrand vs Zenick vs Shar (Baal's Caverns)
The longest match of the day. Mithrand and Shar teamed up and quickly
demolished Dupre. Shar decided perhaps Zenick would make a better partner
but, that only lasted long enough to heal up. About five minutes later,
Mithrand and Shar are back together and beat poor Zenick. Upon Zenick's
death, the remaining contenders split once more and have a 'battle of the
toys'. They took turns pulling different tricks including potions, wands,
scrolls and other more secret toys. In the end Shar got hit by a frogging
potion and croaked.

All contestants (who showed up) fought valiently to the end and have been
rewarded greatly! This will probably come around again next year, at which
point we hope to have more new and exciting arenas for you all to compete
in.

On behalf of the wizards, thank you to all who participated in this grand
event on the birthday of BatMUD!

That's true, hats off for Fil for at least participating and doing his best.

Anyway, i just wanted to thank all of you who were part of this event, i had a
lot of fun just watching the matches and betting a bit on them. Especially the
Grande Finale was simply AWESOME.
Special thanks to our admins for creating this event, i would love to see it
developing into an annual thing.

If I make this event an annual thing, and I very well may, I have a year to
impliment changes such as
-- multiple eliminatino events
-- minimum bets (nice going Lyriikka, you bet 1 gold and won 3)
-- brackets based on total exp/tps
-- more arenas
