Dear Solarhawk,

Why wouldn't normal batmud care? Hardcore could be thought as a part of the
brand, a limping tentacle that should either be healed or be fed to japan+
members.

We have gone down the same slope with bullet proof rules set by the
administration and part of administration making the personal favours to some
people in the normal batmud, too. Rebirths, restores, lost equipment, call it
what you will.

Death hurts in hcbat. I've seen people not getting restores when things have
"bugged" in hardcore. Many instant death specials have been removed and so
forth, but I don't think people have gotten restores for dying on those before
they were tuned.

This is not that kind of case, and yet we see a 100 level Lich wake up from
the death coupla days after his death. A player, lets call him ?ogi for the
sake of privacy, goes to explore an area he doesn't know and dies purely of
his own inexperience. Yes, the 50k monster has a special that puts a target
unconscious. I can't see a bug in there.

Maybe the lack of active playerbase caused ?ogi having to bleed to death after
getting banished to outworld, but so what? Liches arent emphatic, I don't
think other players would've even noticed anything.

What makes me giggle is that somewhere out there is a wizard who apparently
sees the injustice in this and gives ?ogi a restore. Pull the right strings,
lick the right hand, suck on the right finger. For the rest of hcbat players
the situation sucks.

Well, hcbat has been rotting into a pile of useless trash for a long time
already. This is just a step forward. Let's hope the inequal shit stays in
there, at least it's off our pretty blue eyes now.

Oh and dear wizard, whoever you are, please tell me: why?

This is totally bullshit. Already many players have left hc behind (like we
have enough players in HC (15-20) and after this restore (?ogi), more players
will left hc, thanks for support dear Wizzie.
