This new online character creation wizard is really nice and helpful. There's
one major issue though that I think needs some consideration: font colors
throughout the wizard. I tested it with IE6 on a TFT-screen and it was really
hard to read the texts due to a lack of contrast between background
colors/images and the text. I think it'd help a lot if most of the text would
be black, since the majority of background colors used are light colors.

Thanks for taking the time to test it and reporting the
issues.
We got a similar report last night about part of the text
being unreadable and were wondering if you guys were on crack
or something. Then it occured to me that hell, you guys have
a broken browser that does not support PNG transparency, so
no wonder it looks bad and is hard to read. Other parts of
www.bat.org probably look quite strange too.
We'll try to add a png transparency hack to it, but in the
meantime you could upgrade your browser to a bit more modern.
With regards to race+background combos, they are obviously
debatable. I am happy to hear suggestions for what should
be allowed in the tool, but keep in mind that the race+bg
combo must work and be fun for a casual new player (this is
not a reincsim for highies with large sets of gears and
boons).
