This new ld policy is great for building age for characters. I have gained
as much age in one month that took me otherwise 6 months. Not mentioning that
i have been mostly checking news and wondering around, not running in equ
partys with 100+ rips or asmo saccing.

So could darol or ulath or who ever it was that was doing that 'no age from
ld' attempt make it real this time? Because it seems we have a reason to do
quit over ld after all.

A :-D hits you.

1) It wasn't me doing anything the last time.
2) According to my tests, players who are in linkdead do not gain age. (And
yes, I tested this!)
3) You can still quit instead of going ld, 'quit real' does the trick.

Unless it has changed, you can go ld and gain that age when the game reboots.
I don't know if that has changed with the introduction of inns at the
harbours.

If you are speaking about player age (days online), I have no clue about it. I
was referring to character age which is a different thing. In the unlikely
event that we're both still talking about character age, I see no proof of
this happening.
Anyway I would understand that the original author (Blacksmith) meant the
character age as he mentions Asmodeus sacrifices etc. as the key points.

Indeed, I was referring to online age, not character age. That has never been
affected to my knowledge.
