Good evening and welcome to the Middle of the Show! Tonight our topic for all
you little fishes out there (fishy-fishy-fishy fishyyy) is the new Christmas
Edition release of our beloved GgrTF scriptset (remember, it's always
Christmas in Heaven!)

Being a development release, there are many changes, most are internal
cleanups and preparations for further changes.. which brings us to the "good
news" and "bad news" section of our show:

The bad news is that ...
* TF4 support has been dropped, and it's not coming back. Sorry to all those
still using TF4. The last TF4-compatible version of GgrTF, v0.6.9.15, is still
up on the homepage.
* To make even more people unhappy, TF5.0 beta 8 or later is now almost
mandatory. Some features will simply not work with older betas.

But then again, we also have some good news ...
* Merchant module has gotten its long-needed overhaul. The improvements are
too numerous to list here.
* Reagent pouch handler has been fixed and improved.
* Certain annoying bugs have been fixed in the core module.
* Documentation updates.
* New gm-identify -module for mangling of 'identify' spell output.
* Hitstats supports the newly revealed and updated hit messages.
