Hep, for some reason I felt a sudden urge to rant abit, perhaps it was all
the quality posts seen the last week from hilarious vote-fishers, or perhaps
it's the cruel lack of a news ban on Lammas. Perhaps its my supreme
impopularity! If I step on some friends toes here, well so be it, it was not
the intention, nor is the intention to sound bitter, but I realize it will
come across as such to some.

Player-council. Based on a democratic vote. The initial thought seems fine,
admin wants a ballpark to play ideas in, if I understood it, but in this case,
it's simply a popularity-meter, and I'm sure you could have skipped the vote
and pick the top 3 players who reside in the most friends-lists, and get the
same result. What are voters basing their vote on? Gaming-experience?
Previously suggested tunes? I think not, and I'll go with the "He's nice"
longshot.

I'm not against democracy as such, I just don't think it fits the cause at
hand. What the heck does having friends and being nice have to do with
gameplay. I just wanted to point this out, I'm not saying popular players are
retards and incapable of being in a council, hell, they are people I call my
friends, I'm just saying that...well , the approach might be flawed, if really
searching for a councelling function.

A funny reflection, most of the guys who posted about this presented
themselves like politicians, some even as the new Messiah, where the only
resemblence to politics were the empty promises you pulled out of a dirty
orifice to get votes with. Rebirth5, reincs for everybody, you name it.

You just proved to me you didn't understand the concept of this council,
before it even started, thinking you get 3 free wishes upon election, that
every wiz in the game will start coding on a whim, I was giggling in a
schoolgirlesque manner, but I didn't want to bash you before the election
(I'm nice like that!) so i'll give you a nippletwister now instead

Don't need to get all steamed up and emo, I'm just giggling slightly at
your expenses, and if it hurt too much, bug me for a beer on the con to make
up for any harm it caused.

But ye, now we soon have a soon have a council, lets wait and see what that
brings...
