To whomever it may concern,

With all due respect, it has been far too long since us mortals have received
a state of the mud address. Now I'm not one to complain, I'm fairly happy with
the way the mud is going and I truly appreciate all the hard work and
dedication that the higher ups put into making the game what it is; but I have
to say that we are kept in the dark about a lot of what is going on behind the
scenes. Don't get me wrong I enjoy surprises, but as active participants of
the game I think we the mortals deserve to have some idea as to where it is
heading. I don't know if this would fall under the duty of the new batcouncil,
but I think some sort of formal "press-release" is in need. I'm well aware
that many of the arch/wizards have plenty of things on their plate, but
realistically it's been forever since the last one, it couldn't hurt.

IT's only been 2 years I reckon. I even started on draft in 2009 and I think
in 2010, but to be honest, as I was the one driving last State of MUD posts -
real life has consumed me for most of the time. I can't promise it will happen
anytime soon, nor I can promise that I will do it (wouldn't make any sense
really, since I've been quite out of touch lately), but I could try and poke
some people who could give you something like that :)

Stay tuned.
