To visit the discussion on the mage gaiters...I would like to add my little
perhaps biased take on the subject. Keep in mind that I havent played mage in
about 7 years.

I have absolutely no problem with some eqs that take a huge amount of effort
to get which make your char much more powerful. In many ways like i said
about the ship discussion, that is the nature of bat and the fact that
distinguishes us from many other morpgs.

My problem is this: as a evening american time player and playing with many of
these guys, I feel we really dont have much of a good shot at getting these
gaiters. The eq is very very often checked at boot or early in the boot cycle
and so by the time sat or fri evening rolls around its not even a good bother
to check. Please tune the mob so that it repops or if that is too suffelli,
so that it wears the gaiter like the tiger gms do now (at random boot times,
best tune ever btw). There are other quests which are often fucked at evening
times and if an arch cared i could let you know about those as well....
