I liked this event alot. I was skeptical at first but as things went on I
really enjoyed it. And it was nice to see that smaller or newer people was
able to get some nice cash out of it as well.
I was sad to see the whole mud restored, but hey, things bugged and it got out
of hand and I guess it had to be done. My main concern is about the balance
afterwards.
Restoring the necklaces or Redfang points I can understand, since those were
made by hard work. But restoring item upgrades will most likely be very
unfair.
Basically, the short version would be: Newbies work their asses off to collect
scraps. Highbies buy scraps for 50M+ and upgrade their EQ. Mud is restored.
Highbies upgraded EQ is given back. Newbies bank account back to 0.
Somehow that doesn't feel right. And please note that this is not a personal
thing, I sold almost nothing so I am not whining about any money I lost or
whatever.
I just feel sorry for the newbies who actually got the chance to make some
decent cash. And I doubt it will be the same in the re-run. People already
have their points now, they can spend the 16h+ to collect their own scraps
instead of buying from newbies.
Last but definitely not least: Thanks to all who made this event and special
thanks to Shinarae. More things like this!
