so many people have been asking about elixir information and i guess im tired
of repeating myself over and over again. this post will serve as a guide to
reinc elixirs and cover the basics of it to the best of what we currently
know. disclaimer, there might be changes in the future and there might be some
numbers (such as farming numbers) which arent 100% accurate, for the most part
I will be providing approx numbers.
there are different colours of essence, blue, magenta, red, yellow, gray are
the main colours. any colour not in these 5 is a combination of essence. for
simplicity sake i wont account for combo essence in my numbers since based on
my sample size, its irrelevant as the distribution still remains consistent.
there are 32 different affix. blue has 6, magenta has 9, red has 4, yellow has
7 and gray has 6.
blue contains the following affix: gen/bash/stab/cut prot, avoid, stun (might
be stun resist)
magenta has: physical resist and 8 type resists
red has: hit, dmg, crit chance, crit dmg
yellow has: cha, size, str, dex, con, wis, int
gray has: hpmax, epmax, spmax, spr, hpr, exprate
clearly you can see certain colours will be worth more than others. i assume
once people see these results the essence market will change over night. since
if you sold me 50 essence @ 2k an essence, based on the average distribution,
i can essentially throw away 30 of those essence as what i deem 'near
worthless' then i have 20 essence which might roll somewhere between 'sorta
useful to very useful'
currently the only thing we know about essence is that some of the affix are
additive and others are multipliers. common sense (if you have it) should tell
you which ones are which. for example, crit chance is likely going to be a
multiplier (if 3% crit chance, having +10% means you now have 3.3% crit
chance) i dont know for certainty which are which and with time and data we
will know for certain. this will also make certain potions more powerful than
others (i have taken this into account when pricing my elixirs)
