Throughout the years, few people have asked whether the map search server on
my site could have a HTTP GET/POST style API instead of the WebSockets one.

E.g. the one that powers this: https://tnsp.org/maps/search.php

I don't really remember who those people have been, and if they were people
at all, nor how many there have been (maybe 1-3?), but after a week's worth
of refactoring, there now is such a thing, in addition to the WebSockets.

Because I am lazy, I most likely will not be documenting this API, nor will
I guarantee any kind of compatibility, permanence or versioning. Nor will
there be any kind of support or such. The feature may be altered or removed
without prior notice at will.

Anyway, if you are/were one of those people, you may find some clues from
the mapsearch server source code, but if in doubt contact me via a tell
for some further details.
