right now there is only one guild quest which is an actual "event"...
hiking... there could be others in the future, and i sincerely hope that there
will be... what i would like to propose is that hiking (and any future such
quests/events in the guild) be put on a timer much like the barbarian
quests...

what is the purpose of this? well... as it stands now (haven't checked plaque
today, but as of yesterday anyway) there isn't a single person in the guild
who has completed this quest... why is that? well, definitely in part because
of the recent force reincs... anyone that had gotten it before that doesn't
have it anymore... but also no one knows when the event will be run... it's
purely random... i have only ever been on at the start of that event one time
(i won it that time, but it wasn't a ranger quest back then)... now in order
to have a real shot at getting the quest i have to hope that it is run when
i'm on and not in party but paying attention... if it were put on a timer like
barb quests then rangers could prepare for it (and it would be a better
competition too)...
