There is a new shop open in Silver Lake, "The House of Alchemy". I normally
leave it for the observant sailor to discover new possibilities that appear in
the city from time to time, however I feel that this is a bit more fundamental
of a shop.
Many of you have probably noticed the elixir cabinets that started going on
sale a couple months ago; this shop is how you actually stock that cabinet.
These potions have quite a few possible uses (naturally, all related to the
ship in some fashion). For now, I have activated those potions which
correspond to healing your crew and reviving them from uncon. As I'm writing
this, I've realized that these potions do not affect golems; I will plan to
add similar effects for golems soonish (i.e. this year sometime

.
You will undoubtedly notice that the shop has a <very> limited stock. Most
(all but 1 of the current ones in fact...) of the potions require the
assistance of an alchemist to make. Rubi gives some hint of what she's looking
for, but she's a rather distracted sort. I recommend those of you who want to
take advantage of these potions to start figuring out my latest set of riddles
Oh yes, while ramming does not affect your crew, cannonballs and magi attacks
will be able to. So while those forms of combat aren't around yet, I would
recommend that those who actually use their ships learn more about how these
potions work.
Finally, a large portion of the elixir code was written back in 2001, let me
know if anything bugs
