I think that the race guild skills should be cumulative to your guild skills,
an example---> camouflage trained to 50(max) at race guild and its 0 at
ranger guild, if i would want it to be 84 i would have to train it all the way
from 0 to 84!?! this is so stupid that its almost a bug, why train anything in
your race guild if u have the skil on your regular guild menu. fix it somehow
that it would be useful to train at race guild and not a waste of exp, if
lizardman is naturally good at camouflage then why does he have to train
camouflage twice to 50? if this is a bug I want taskpoints :D it could
be...because its so stupid.....

If you haven\'t noticed, when you train skill X in guild A, it stays trained also in guild B. Therefore, if you train camouflage to 50 in racial guild you can train just to 51+ in rangers. It does not waste exp, but makes some races\' skills pointless for some guilds (as they get more of the same skills from guild).

I\'m all for bringing back +10 dodge to catfolk ;-) (or whatever it was)

well i got news for u daerid, it truly wastes exp, about 68k if u have trained camouflage to 50 at race guild and train the camouflage again to 50 at ranger guild : ) currently the camouflage skill is 50(from race) and 40(in ranger guild) and believe it or not it costs exp to raising the skill :D so what is this if not waste of exp?

There is a difference between 'training stuff at racial guild' and having a
racial bonus. Lizardman for example have swim naturally at 50%. At their
racial guild they can train it higher than this but it doesn't stack with the
original 50%, it only gets applied 'behind' that. You could say that this exp
is wasted then, but I say it isn't, you're just not getting an extreme freebie
of 50%. I'm not sure if this is exactly what this conversation was talking
about, but as far as I know, where racial bonuses aren't concerned, it's
always worked for me that if I trained 30% attack in my racial guild, then
attack would be already at 30% when I joined some other guild, eg rangers.
Basically, since the racial bonus you don't have to spend exp to get in the
first place, you're not 'wasting exp', you're just paying normal price. Yes
this does mean that racial bonuses are useless if you plan to train higher
than them, but it also means if you don't plan to train that skill at all it
can be a handy extra.
