Facts
You can collect 'marks' to your Kerbholz of the monsters you have killed.
Those monsters are lited different colours depending how hard they are. -Top55
players(exp) can collect marks to their Kerbholzes. -Top55 players(totalexp)
who have rebirthed can echo mudwide the kills.
Problems
1) top55 player means over 400m total experience.
2) top55 players mean that you have to competite for the slot in top-plaque.
(batmud is expanding - alot new players have joined since this system)
3) That goal of top55 is running away.. you have to get more and more exp to
gain acces of marks

Solutions
-I suggest that the limit for 'getting marks' is based to some solid post,
like 300m exp.
-The 'echo' limit is still at the top55 players(+rebirth status), or even
lower...

Summary: To get marks earlier and check what cool kills you have maid. Echo is
the status-symbol which still remains in the system I suggested. (perhaps
Kerbholzes prices get back where they should be, above 300k atleast!)

I fail to see why it should be nothing else than the current situation. It
surely would be boring if anyone had those. If you have problems staying on
the plaque, try harder and not whine for stupid downtune. plz?!

Well, i agree with balthas about kerbholzs.People should be able to get marks
in them early for have in the future quality marks in kerbholzs.(Of course,
let that shout thing to rebirthers/top 55 people). That could make to people
get more interest in eq, and well is more fun for the game. Anyway if you kill
a mob, why shouldnt be able to get a mark for remembering it in the future?.
Big marks are gonna stay in high people as always and lower players should get
worse ones, but well all could have significance for both kind of people.

People would get more interested in eq? You think a holz makes a difference to people\'s eq interest? Most people replying to this, what i call a newbie jealousy whine (rest calls it an idea) doesn\'t even know how to make eq, they dont know where the fucking toilet paper roll hangs after they are done taking a crap.

Furtermore I think you can grep your log files of Artemis and rot in your dorm rooms until you explore the game, get some exp, and do eq, like most others who has a holz (tonto doesnt count).

No holzes for lazy girls.

I don't know why this conversation is heading to exp-noobs.. The main point
was in my first ideas-wanted post and now everyone is 'BoAsTiNg' hear how just
they can do stuff - none else.

Well I seen an answer right now, only way to mark a mob is if you lead the party that killed it. If you can\'t get a marks without leading then probably enough people wouldn\'t have any marks that their would no longer even be a problem with shouts.


Tackle

It\'s not downtune if some others can also use eq. I\'m all for limiting even room-spam to top-55 or whatever, but collecting kills by gathering logfiles and running \'grep\' through them gets boring.

I fail to see why game should cater to top-55 nolifers. For the record, I\'ve played quite number of years and I\'ve been briefly within top-40 or so, and mostly in 50-60 range recently, and I have totally given up on holzes. The exp\'s useless for my reinc, I don\'t want to reinc, and I don\'t definitely want to make exp to be able to record my rare eq kills.

While on this topic, I vote that holzes should work only for bottom-500 on the plaque - give people reason to suck more! I\'ll be there in a few years at this pace
