how about giving parties a command like, to set a second in command in case

Doesn't leadership only (?) work when the current leader is unconscious, so if
the leader dies a new leader is (randomly?) appointed. So using leadership
after leader is dead is not much help, if you want to add usefulness to the
leadership skill maybe the leader (or someone in the party) could use it to
appoint a secondary leader? If my memory serves me well (hah!) party
leadership used to go to the one with highest leadership % but not anymore?
Which is a good thing, since it's kinda sucky :)

Atm it looks like surviving party member with highest level is appointed as
new leader, no idea if leadership skill is any kind of factor there. Anyway,
it would be really nice if party leader could set at least a second, maybe
even third in command. Right now the system works as "if i die, everybody
panic" and i myself see "if i die, follow member asdf" as much more realistic.

The leadership skill can be used at any time to take lead of a party, assuming
certain requirements are met. For more info get out there and test it.

This can be done by having the backup leader make the party and
changing leads to whoevers leading, can't it? Shows a little silver
star in my batclient whenever I make a party and someone else is leading,
and when they happen to go unconscious/die leads go to me automatically.

What really is the thing that drifts the game towards this? Why is there a
compelling need to make everything a 'secret'. What is the purpose of eg. 'how
to take leadership with leadership-skill' being so secret that it can't be
told, but instead need to be tested?
Is that part of what the administration thinks is fun for players?
How does a player train leadership to 100% without even knowing what to do
with it?
Here's my idea, make a poll (like there was a poll whether players wanted more
accurate info for certain things) with title 'do you want helpfiles that are
actually helpful'.
Above was a reply to Draliths post.
