what is the point in druid overcharging? Seriously? Why? Is it there to give
some excitement? Add more playing fun? "oh hey guys, i overcharged my staff,
lets delay the party 45minutes to sill get it up to speed". If it adds so much
fun to the game, lets add it to over things as well.

Tanks: parry 52 accidentally makes you parry so hard, your parry skill drops
to 0 for an hour

Priests: if you do a ceremony while you already have one ceremony active, your
harm spells go to 50% for 36 minutes

Merchants: no need here, i guess they're fucked enough already

Bards: Sing war ensemble while someone already has war ensemble causes them to
go berserk, effectively dropping their int/wis to 0 and causing them to
autoattack everything.

Mages: Blasting a mob for more damage than they have hitpoints causes a wicked
backlash killing the mage, all that mystic power has to channel somewhere,
right?

Beastmasters: heeling your mount while your mount is in the room causes the
mount to go all emo-mode and just whine about how you dont care about them and
don't treet them right, making them unrideable for a good 20 minutes.

Rangers: Trying to refuel a fire that doesn't need to be refueled will cause
the campfire to go overboard, giving firedmaage to ranger and causing them to
put out the flames in the surrounding countryside for a good 10 minutes.

Spiders: Control spider demon when you don't need to yet will just cause your
spider demon to bloat and grow fat, effectively increasing your carried weight
by 30 kilograms for half an hour until the spider demon gets properly hungry
again.

I', sure you can come up with more awesome gameplay enhancing changes.

The idea is obviously to prevent roboting. None of your other examples match
that pattern. This is an example of a guild where being able to play
practically REQUIRES roboting to the extent that game mechanics have to be
changed to police it (other example i would point to in this regard would be
the Torch 10k quest for rangers ...). As for the wisdom of wizards creating
such "features" (or stupidity, as case may be) I leave it up to you to
decide....
