Tigers get money if they kill the target; target loses 200k xp.
Target kills tiger? Tigers still pester target, until target gives up.
I don't see why targets shouldn't receive _something_ for resisting, because
currently there is _no_ reason _whatsoever_ to resist.. Yesterday I wasted AOA
reagent or two on myself, and today I was just like 'whatever, might as well
die to get this over and done with', and let the tiger applicant kill me (I
spent 16 rounds in battle without shooting him, shooting cashmob instead twice
and not using any toys..)
I'm not sure _what_ targets should get, perhaps some limited time buff?(That
particular idea thanks to Undyingrage) Something else?
About 3 years ago, Imperator and I talked to a wiz that was going to revap the
guild. Among the many ideas we offered. I suggested that tiger missions be
handled like rl assassinations. But instead of Players, the target are mobs!
You go to the guild, there is a bookkeeper. Every 3-6 hours you can attempt a
mission. You are given a target of random power/level, which also affects the
reward(rep/coin). You have 3-6 hours to kill the mob. It will NOT not be a
once per boot mob. Complete the mission and get rep. Return to the bookkeeper
for coins.
This way, players aren't annoyed with tigers leaping in and poking them in the
chest and random tigers aren't threatened to be boxed. The Batmud community
is at peace once again!
