I would really like to see more active management/development of the game and
game balance by admin. I think everyone would. Obviously there is an open
development system here that is a tradition and I think changing that goes
against the general ethos of Batmud. And I think I speak for everyone is
saying how immensely gratified we are at the administration, both current and
past, for volunteering their time and effort at making this game continue and
flourish.

I've brought this idea up before, but I think the current admin should
SERIOUSLY consider investing the current donation flow into a paid intern
poisition by a CS student in HKI or a major US academic institution. Many many
students would be ecstatic at the opportunity to work as a developer in a
game, and our money could go a long way. I think I also speak for a large
number of players in saying that we think that current improvements to
existing guilds, new areas, new guilds, and general refinement of existing
races/tunes would go a HUGE improvement and would probably be worth more than
financing trips to Vegas and booze (although, that stuff is important too).
The problem is that current admin is busy with RL or other stuff and this game
needs a more active hand.
