New skill idea for beastmasters 'lassoing'.
This would work similarly to rescue but have a higher chance of success
due to extenuating circumstances. It would require the beastmaster to have
a rope in inventory and a saddle on his mount. The beastmaster would
use lassoing at <target> and this would cause the target to drastically
lower their offensive and defensive capabilities (they have a rope tied around
them at this point) but then the beastmaster could leave the room and
drag the target behind them, perhaps causing a small amount of damage
due to dragging over rough terrain. This would be a fast skill, 1 round
or so, and basically be a flavoured 'rescue' for beastmasters.
I suppose this could also be some sort of debuff to use against monsters
as well, rather than just rescuing party members, with some sort
of str/dex opposition, perhaps with a chance to dismount the beastmaster
holding onto the other end of the rope. Anyway....random thoughts
