When I "view" from inside my ship to the ship I so gloriously destroyed and am
capturing, I should be able to see how close to being completely underwater it
is. In other words, is it possible to show us the % it has sunk so I know if
I will have time to kill its crew?

I like this idea a lot, but feel that it should maybe be a function of the
scanner. Perhaps you'd need both capable repair and scanning crew members.

Look works pretty nicely, if the crows nest is full of water, it wont take
long, just saying

I was unaware (or just forgot) that look would work. I had not previously
tried it because a) I have not had such a hard time soloing a crew as I did
last night (damnable phys-res), and 2) I was in my lounge desparately wishing
I could regen faster. I am able to 'view' from the lounge but all it says is
(sinking). In my panic while regenning I kept making sure it was there, but I
would have liked to see something like 'starting to sink', 'sinking', 'nearly
sunk' to adjust my panick level appropriately. It makes sense to me that you
would see, visually, looking out the window, how much of a ship is showing.
