terrorizing on society channels enough already?

I'd suggest simply to remove that useless not-funny
retardtrash nickname feature completly and burn
all possible existing code backups of it.. but since
some society admins think it's hilarious
or something and have paid for it I just ask a simple question:

What on earth is the reason members of ss cannot choose by themself
if they want to use / see those nicknames or not?
