Meeting minutes of the last meeting of the first term.

1) Meeting started 27.2.2011 22:07

2) It was decided reinctaxes will not be touched for the time being.

3) The summoners guild (magical guild utilizing NPCs) was seen as a
good idea. Naturally, careful attention must be given to tuning
and content (need more).

4) Improvement of newbie quests (level quests under lvl40, some area
quests). It was noted that the quality and difficulty of some newbie
quests is not acceptable. However, as with all improvements the lack
of resources is the biggest problem. It was decided that with guality
mortal input on how quests can be improved it would lessen the work
of wizards (WIZARD_X) doing the improvements. "Quality input" should include
accurate descriptions of NPC shortnames, longnames, room descriptions
and locations and what should be done to them.

5) The reward for completing all continent quests were seen to be
out-of-tune and content breaking. Different alternatives were discussed
on how downtune them. A money sink alternative was discussed.

6) Invite races have been hard to join for a long time due to inactive
race leaders. The discussion brought out the following results: Valar
can be joined by sumbitting the story Tulkas requires to an archwizard
and hope for the best. Doppelganger is still joinable, if you don't know
how, you are not ready Moomin and Penguin are curiosities that are
slowly being phazed out. Race descriptions should be updated with this
information.

7) A concern has been raised over people's preferance of soloing over
partying simply because it is better exp. Several difference exp tuning
possibilities were discussed and all of them were seen too difficult.
It was decided that the damagemaking of solotanks is put under
surveillance. WIZARD_Y monitors skill and spell damages and WIZARD_X will
monitor
meleedamage.

Review of the first council term. The council was seen as a good forum.
The biggest flaw was the lack of follow-up on most ideas. Suggested
improvements included better "marketing" of council tasks to wizards
and holding council meetings at regular or agreed times. Also, adding
one mortal member to council was decided.
