Lizardmen are known for their carnivorous way of life. They only accept
corpses for food, or the tender organs from corpses. While some more
omnivorous people see this as a hindrance, the proud lizardmen see it as a
strength and way to stand out from the crowd. It takes a certain kind of
acquired taste to feed on rotting carcasses, and this taste for flesh can be
augmented, improved and embraced.
The pure amount of skill it takes to quickly devour the good parts of a blue
whale is not something to be dismissed easily. A week old carcass may smell
definitely inedible and off-putting, yet the lizardmen can find plenty to eat
from one. These are just the tip of the iceberg examples for the true corpse
connoisseurs.
The art of corpse connoisseurs was long lost, but now again available for
lizardmen. While it is impossible to gain all the same benefits as with more
civilized food, the lizardmen are not picky. Experimentation, luck and skill
will yield useful bonuses, sometimes even something that those civilized folks
cannot attain with their pastries.
