Dance the beat of thrum
Flurry 'round the firelight
Swinging upon your pendulant ride
You greet me this day with not love
Though it were wh't were wisht.
You make it right with the joy in your eyes
Sorrow from sobriety would weep
For the time of ending is ever near
And in spite of myself, you break my heart.
Would that you were
That flurry of air, candle fire
A trancing spirit into real life.
Similar path of thought walked without you
Rather than a child more difficult
And one that I dearly love
Resolution of an induced shame
A lover who will always call my name
And why do I still hesitate?
