the sun is setting beyond
the land, with my body, is covered by night
the blackness serves as a haven when one is afraid to sleep
sleep is the keeper of dreams
dreams, for no longer of love, consist of lies
lies which appear to be comforting, but soon none
they turn murky, as if swallowed in a swamp, cold, dark, and deep
the water soon contains ripples that reflect the light of the sun
dawn is here, life an happiness awaken for some
once again day is upon me and i am filled with intense grief
and like an impatient child i restlessly await for my veil of darkness
