RAIN FELL UPON THE DOOR, opened, without knocking, entered, without asking
whether or not it was allowed. Prayer too flight, leaving behind all burdens
and despairs, our dead lifted to the pyre and lit, released like doves and
desperate to find the path to God. O Merciful, Wali of Silence, do our ears
beg through Your Grace to touch broken hearts! O Rabi, our souls are all from
elsewhere, and we intend to end up there, so make dry these Tears, so drench
not our feet upon the path to Your door. O Wakil, hear and make clear the Samt
al-Ma'a!
