In the beginning, there was a great and mighty priest. But that priest one day
went into a lengthy
and forgetful hibernation. Upon re-entering this plane of existence, the
priest was so extremely
very neophyte, once again a babe enclothed in holy robes, perhaps having a bit
too much power, this
priest cast their favorite spell of all times. As the priest canted "Harken to
me and hear my plea,
disease is what I call to thee" and suddenly that priest became a NEWT! What a
humbling experience
when at 75% spell skill this was the result. oh how the highbies would laugh,
they thought, and
humbly seached old emails, notes, and every single resource online, oh but
there was no note as to
what should be done to remove this horrid curse! So humbly, and ashamed, the
priest did what any
sensible person would: asked for help within the internal priests network.
"err.. it's been years
since I played and I've fumbled pestilence and newted myself. I've forgotten
how to remove it?"
"Ewige the might explained it simply: "Find a tarmalen and get a restore
spell." Humbly and with a
red face, the priest said "Thank you." And searched, but alas a Newt cannot
speak nor do any spells
and skills at all! Woe's me, thought the newt to itself. I used to be a
priest. To the priests'
delight a wonderful old friend of yore stepped out of a magic portal and
traipsed by. But the
priest could not bespeak and sent a quickie email. Lol Batmail, to think!!
Anyway, Xortoth was
indeed a tarmalen, and the priest begged for help. What a newbie! haha. Anyway
it worked out, but
the lesson was learnt. Always be careful with that &)@&^ing spell! Thank you
Xortoth. Thanks Ewige!
With love, a dark priest who can now kill again.
